MCS301 meter

MetCom MCS301 three-phase electricity meter

A MetCom Solutions GmbH three-phase meter for active and reactive energy in commercial metering systems. Direct and transformer-connected variants are available.

  • Accuracy classes 0.2S, 0.5S and 1, depending on variant.
  • Load profiles and measurement of network parameters, harmonics and THD.
  • Data transfer via DLMS/COSEM and IEC 62056-21; additional communication modules.
  • Up to 8 energy tariffs and 4 demand tariffs; up to 10 profile types.
  • Replaceable COM modules for cellular, Ethernet, Modbus and additional interfaces on variants with a module slot.

COMMUNICATIONS AND INTEGRATION

COM communication modules

The replaceable module sits beneath the terminal cover and is powered by the meter. It requires an MCS301 variant with a COM slot, indicated by symbol M in the variant code.

Exchange and configuration

For COM200, COM300 and COM350, the brochure specifies PULL polling, PUSH delivery, NTP synchronisation, a watchdog timer and Blue2Link configuration. PUSH supports TCP, UDP, FTP and email; SMS is available for COM200.
